Why do bed bugs come back after ordinary pest control?

Because ordinary spray does not reach the eggs. The eggshell resists most chemical formulations, so the adults die and the eggs survive. They hatch over the following one to two weeks and the infestation restarts. Sustained high-temperature steam breaks the eggs down on contact, which spray cannot do.

What does the visit involve?

Inspection. Mattress seams and piping, bed frames, headboards, sofa joints, curtains, wardrobe corners and switchboards — to establish where the bugs are living, not just where they were seen.
Preparation guidance. Before the visit we tell you exactly what to wash, what to clear and how far to pull the furniture from the walls. In Marol Village’s older buildings and in PG rooms this matters more than anywhere else, because access is tighter and there is more to move.
Steam and spray. Steam first into seams and frame joints where the eggs sit, then targeted residual spray into cracks, skirting and behind fittings. A standard flat takes 1.5 to 2.5 hours.
Follow-up at 15 days. Included in the price, not charged extra. Any eggs that survived the first round will have hatched by then, and this visit breaks the breeding cycle before the new nymphs mature.

What should I do after the treatment?

Stay out of treated rooms for two to four hours until the spray dries, then ventilate for twenty to thirty minutes before going back in. Do not wet-mop treated skirting for 48 hours. Wash bedding in hot water, and keep sleeping in the same room — moving to the hall spreads the problem rather than escaping it.

Bites alone do not confirm bed bugs, because skin reactions vary enormously from person to person — some people show almost nothing. Physical evidence does: live bugs in the seams, dark spots the size of a pen dot on the sheet, or pale shed skins near the stitching.
