Bed bugs are different, and after two decades we stopped treating them as just another pest on the list.
They hide inside seams and joints rather than moving across open surfaces. Their eggs survive most chemical sprays. They travel between flats through wall cracks and plumbing ducts. And unlike a cockroach problem, they cost people their sleep — which is why the calls we get about bed bugs sound different from every other call we take.
Treating them properly needs different equipment, a different method and a second visit built into the plan from the start. That is why this site exists separately.
Every job follows the same four steps, whether it is a single room in a chawl or a full hostel block.
We check mattress seams, bed frames, headboards, sofa joints, curtains, wardrobe corners and switchboards before quoting anything. Inspection is free and carries no obligation. If we find the insect is not a bed bug, we say so.
Steam above 97°C is worked slowly along every seam and joint. Sustained heat destroys eggs, which is the part ordinary sprays cannot do. This is why spray-only treatments fail and why infestations return two weeks later.
Steam reaches only where the nozzle goes. Wall cracks, skirting and electrical conduits need a low-odour approved formulation, applied at the dosage appropriate to the infestation level found during inspection.
Any eggs that survived the first treatment hatch within this window. The second visit is what breaks the breeding cycle. It is part of the quoted price, not an add-on.
Most pest control websites promise permanent removal and 100% results. We do not, and here is why that matters to you.
Reinfestation happens through luggage after travel, second-hand furniture, and neighbouring flats in housing societies. None of that is within any pest control company's control. Anyone promising a permanent guarantee is either not telling you the whole picture, or has not seen enough infestations.

They do not. Bed bugs are not known to transmit disease to humans. What they cause is bites, itching, disturbed sleep and considerable stress — which is serious enough without exaggeration.
If the inspection shows bugs are coming from an adjacent flat, we will tell you plainly. Treating your flat alone will not hold, and we would rather say that upfront than take payment for a job that returns in six weeks.
In most cases thermal steam treats the mattress successfully. Discarding it is usually the most expensive part of a bed bug problem and rarely the solution, because bugs are already in the frame and skirting.

Thermal steam uses no chemicals at all. The residual spray is a CIB-approved formulation applied into cracks and crevices rather than on open surfaces. Occupants and pets should stay out of treated rooms for 2 to 4 hours until surfaces dry, and our technician provides written aftercare instructions.
